Massachusetts General Court commends the Republic of China, Taiwan, on its contribution to promote world health and supports Taiwan's observer status in the World Health Organization, April 11, 2005 The Massachusetts General Court commended the Republic of China (Taiwan) on its contribution to promote world health by passing a resolution adopted by the Massachusetts House of Representatives and Senate on April 11, 2005. The resolution, offered by Senator Andrea Nuciforo, Jr. and Representative Marie Parente cited, in part, the essential need of every citizen of the world with access to health information and services and Taiwan's substantial achievements in health to support Taiwan's participation as an observer in the World Health Organization.
