Media & Information Service

The Information Division provides authoritative and accurate information regarding Taiwan to the New England states. It works with the media, the academic community, and the general public to facilitate better understanding of government policies and development in Taiwan.

The Information Division disseminates information to print and broadcast media in the New England states as requested or needed concerning the Republic of China with an emphasis on its achievements in full democracy, economic liberalization, and social openness.

Providing publications on Chinese culture, tourism, education, and politics is another major mission of the Information Division. A library of audio-visual materials in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is available on a wide-range of subjects. VHS video, 16-mm films, 3/4 broadcast tapes, and slides may be borrowed free of charge. Other items available include pamphlets, brochures, pictorials, and posters.
